I've been gathering images of original artwork in Crestview Neighborhood for an on-going blog posting series and decided to jump in on Cindy's of My Corner of Katy's 3 for Thursday idea.

I think I need a scarecrow, too.
Thanks for sharing these.
Love that garden art! And if you find a "scarestinkbug" please let me know!
I've been wanting a scarecrow for some time, though I agree with you -- I need more of a scarebug. Time to get the creative juices flowing! Hey, we should have an Austin-wide garden scarecrow project!
I agree Meredith! Let's get to work!
love these, especially the Elvis-crow. Let me know when you come up with the scarestinkbug. i need one too.
I thought the big tree out front was going to be your scarecrow, although I thought it would be a scarechristian and scare hell out of the church goers across the street.
Hi Cheryl, very creative and attractive scarecrows.
I've recently seen them in a different context. In Cambodia outside villages are scarecrows, meant to protect the village from evil spirits.
So .. . scarespirits, scarecrows, scarebugs - all depends on your needs!
Cheers, catmint
